How we built a standout brand identity & website for a boutique law firm

Hyperian Law website design

First impressions count and for a new law firm stepping into a competitive B2B market, they can mean everything. When Hyperian Law approached WDC Brands, they needed more than a logo. They needed a complete brand identity that communicated professionalism, integrity, and ambition from day one. This is the story of how we delivered exactly that: a distinctive visual identity, comprehensive brand guidelines and a fully built website - giving Hyperian Law the credibility platform to win clients with confidence.

The brief

Hyperian Law operates primarily in the B2B sector, advising businesses across a range of legal disciplines. As a newly established boutique firm, they needed a brand that could hold its own against larger, more established competitors - without looking corporate or cold.

"A modern vibrant logo, supported by company name, that communicates integrity."

Our approach

We developed a design direction centred on stylish, contemporary aesthetics that would translate cleanly across all brand touchpoints, from letterheads to email footers to the firm's website.

After exploring a range of palettes, we selected a bold combination of yellow and blue as the primary brand colours, with a monochrome option also developed for flexibility. The rationale was strategic: yellow delivers competitive stand-out in a sector dominated by navy and grey, while blue reinforces the trustworthiness and authority that legal clients expect. Together, they convey both dynamism and integrity.

Logo design

At the heart of the identity is a logo that subtly incorporates the initials H and L into a distinctive visual device. We explored multiple directions before arriving at a more abstract, refined approach - keeping the firm's name front and centre while introducing a mark detailed enough to add character to stationery and branded materials.

The result is a logo that feels established rather than start-up and distinctive rather than generic. Exactly what a boutique firm needs when building credibility from scratch.

Brand Guidelines

With the logo and visual identity signed off, we produced a comprehensive brand guidelines document to ensure consistency across every application.

The guidelines cover:

  • Brand colour palette with primary and monochrome options
  • Typography and font usage
  • Logo usage rules and clear space guidelines
  • Template examples for letterheads and email signatures

This document gives Hyperian Law's team, and any future suppliers, a clear, accessible reference point, protecting brand consistency as the firm grows.

Website design and development

The final element of the project was the firm's website. Having secured the domain, we built a site structured around Hyperian Law's core services, with sections introducing the team and a dedicated area for sector insights.

The site carries the bold yellow and blue identity through a clean, professional layout and purposely designed to perform as effectively for a first-time visitor as it does for a returning client. The result is a digital presence that matches the ambition of the firm and supports their business development efforts from day one.

The outcome

From a standing start, Hyperian Law now has a complete, cohesive brand identity, logo, guidelines, and website, that gives them the credibility and professionalism to compete for B2B clients with confidence. Every element of the brand works together: the colours stand out, the typography communicates authority, and the website converts visitors into enquiries.
